Hi Fellows,

first of all *bad english alert* ;)

i´ve just bought a "GFK" ( so called in germany ) body for a 1957 Mercedes Benz 300 SL Roadster incl. lattice-tubingframe and also a negative-body.

Now í´ve searched almost the whole internet about reproduction-parts or scimilar, but no luck.

I need alsomost all external parts, as Bumpers, Lights, door-handles, trims etc..etc...

Since Gullwing Unlimited has closed their doors, i have no idea where i can elsewhere get those parts...

For example: An original Mercedes ( from classic-center ) complete front-bumper costs round about 12.000 $

Maybe one of you have a solution.

Regards,
Olaf

Do you really need the bumpers?
May be you can put lift hooks as used in Cobras on it (they may look pretty good in the Mercedes).
Good luck and best regards.

Hi Fellows,

sorry for my late reply ... and many thanks for your answers ( esspecially in my language --- great ! )

@ QKracha - thanks for the hint. I agree, they´ll look pretty good on it, but unfortunately they won´t look like original bumpers. And my wish is to built a roadster wich looks almost like the original. But thanks anyway

@ 3rup - thanks for the links - i´ll try to get in contact with them.

by the way... does anybody know the name of the company ( as far as i know - located in Mexico ) who has manufactured the parts for the kitcar company "gullwing unlimited" ??

Regards,
Olaf
