This has been discussed before, so you might want to do a search on 'delorean' to see more on the subject. In a nutshell, you can buy a Delorean for less than the amount of money it would cost to sell a quality kit, so you're better off just buying an original car.

On a sort-of related note, I read in a recent magazine poll that people are looking to buy original-style Mini Cooper kits. Why? I dunno...I can buy one for around the price of a Delorean. Heck, I can buy a Mini and Cooperize it for less than the price of a 'real' one, and it would have the provenance of actually being a Mini, rather than a kit...

hi

there is a brilliant eaxample for sale on www.autotrader.co.uk

http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/CARS_popup.asp?modelexact=1&make=DELOREAN&min_pr=&postcode=MK14+7QQ&source=0&model=ANY&max_pr=&sort=3&variant=&mileage=&miles=1500&photo=1&keywords=&agerange=&max_records=200&search.x=62&search.y=7&start=1&distance=41&adcategory=CARS&channel=CARS&id=200319089574960,

to find the exact ad, you are much better of buying one, it wasn't that good of a car. ofcourse it will most likely be a left hand drive as very few right hand drive were made.
