hello mr nice guy,

Maybe I can help you, in your quest to find the person that posted the project. I don't know who it is, but I have seen the pictures before. If you have a look at this http://www.porschereplica.com.br/ or www.kremerdesign.br it seems to be their pictures. I have tried for a long time tried to get hold of kremerdesign, as they do very nice kit, but they never return e-mail and I don't speak puertugese so I'm a bit stuck. Let me know if you have any success.

_ Steffen,

Thank you for the information. I found a translation website and wrote them a message to find out mor info. Are you interested in the 993 or?
I also have seen great Porsche re-bodies at Pauls exotics from Florida, I am on trying to research cost and all of that. I did notice that the Kremer Co. used (in at least a few) a tubular frame, I am thinking that that would keep the cost of the beautiful cars down? Do you have any more info?

Thanks -

Mr Nice Guy

hi,

I very much doubt that you'll get a response unless you call them, and then I think you may need a translator. I have been in contact with a gentleman who lived in Brazil and also created a kitcar site very similar to this one for brazilian cars, I can't find the link but I'll go look. He informed me that they do both rebodys and kits. Most of the kits are based on VW beetles which still are being made there, they would probaly put in a 1.7 or 2.0 litre engine with a turbo. They are located very close to a port so it should be no problem shipping it, I would however go there and collect and arrange shipping myself via an American company. I was once quoted for a fully build 911 from another company in brazil (they did however disapear) they said that the wanted R$17000 for a coupe and R$21000 for a cabrio whether that is the same for kreamer I don't know. I have on many occassion tried to contact them with no success, if they get back to you let me know how you did it.

Clicking on the above link didn't work, as the comma is included as part of the address. The correct address (I guess) is:

www.kit-car.tk

I don't speak the language, so I don't know what the site says.

Your pal,
Meat.

comma...woopsie,

Use an online translator like altavista.com, if that still exists. It is not perfect but with a little imagination (which I know most kitcar fans have, otherwise the industry would not exists) and some patients it is ok, not super...but it does have links to new and exciting kits and some good old ones.
