Ironsmith has been MIA for about a decade now, so you'll probably not get much from there. If you do, please post it, as the Ironsmith Bugatti replica was one of the earlier and more interesting looking ones.As far as the Bugatti stuff goes, there's not alot of interest in these old cars - which is unfortunate, since they were really cool, in my opinion. Neoclassis and replication of old European racers has really fallen off in the U.S.
The Bugatti replicas have always had a special place in my heart, what with the strange connection to Ian Fleming's (the 007 writer) best and most unknown work (okay, it's not unknown...it's unknown that he penned it!): Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
The 1927 Bugattis are the ones like the Ironsmith made, and they do occasionally come up for sale used. In fact, there's a Type 35 that "needs work" based on a VW chassis that's up for sale in So. Cal for $900. There's also a company on the internet that advertises VERY heavily that has one: http://www.bobsclassics.com/27bu.htm
Hope that helps!
