Manta Montage
This is a copy of a McLaren M-6 built by Manta. It is not a VW powered kit car. The body has never been mounted. I found it locally. The chassis I purchased on ebay. It had a body on it that had the front cut off and never put back on The guy I got it from used some of the body parts to build another car. The side pods are on the car and there are some cracks on the underside of the driver side. I installed a temporary dash so the chassis can be driven without the body (boy, is it quick!), brakes work and it shifts good. I installed a new 2950CFM radiator fan and new battery and repaired the wiring. The fuel tank was cleaned and filters installed. One of the cv boots needs replaced. The engine is a 2.8 chevyV6 and is in great shape.The front rotors are new and 5 lug with no adapters.The AC pump and evaporative unit is on the car and the rest of the parts are included. The tranny is a four speed and shifts good, but growls in reverse a little. The wheels are Compomotive and I have all the spinners. The rubber is 80%. The Body has some scratches in the gelcoat on the nose, (looks like from moving it around.) The front glass is cracked. New ones are available, as are most of the parts for this car.The car comes with the door glass There is a manta club online. There is a box of interior parts and some leather upholstery. For a small fee, I could mount the body to the chassis for shipping. It is missing the door hinges and latches. They are available. It needs headlights also. All the hard stuff is done. This would be a fast build for someone with limited time to work on the car. (530)222-2063
