Frame
Completely restored and beefed up/fortified. New pans. Frame built up with one inch Sq. galvanized stock. So solid I could stand on the corners of the frame with the body off and it wouldn't move (like normal VWs). Fully undercoated (thousands invested).
Engine
1600 CC Dual Port VW engine. Completely rebuilt inside and out and beefed up with bigger cam and bore. New carburetor, tins (chrome), exhaust, complete tuneup kit, throttle cable clutch, clutch assembly, clutch cable, etc, etc, etc. (Thousands invested) Fuel injected engine runs great
Body, etc.
All-new wiring, harness and fuse box. All new lights. New wooden dashboard, bumpers, windshield, brake cables, fuel lines, tires, master cylinder, brakes and brake hardware. Wheel bearings, shocks, master cylinder, gas tank, battery pans, gas tank pan, lock-out shifter. All new instrument gauges. New grill, hood latches, carpet, wet sanded and ready for paint. Essentially almost every part is new and its ready for you to choose original red or white.
A couple of finishing touches and paint and this could be a 12,000 - $15,000 classic (check online)! There's a lot RIGHT with this car. I spent the last two years and more money than I will admit but I have to sell it now. Lost property and garages. My loss is your gain.
