This cool, little car was built as a project vehicle for Kit Car Builder magazine. It’s powered by a turbocharged 2110cc highly modified VW engine with a 40mm Weber side-draft carburetor, thermostat-controlled oiling system with a deep sump, 92-row oil cooler with electric fan, braided lines, wrapped headers, Rancho ProStreet trans, 911 fan & shroud. The wheels are polished Porsche 911 Fuchs with Falken tires, Karmann Ghia front disc brakes, drum rear brakes. The interior features adjustable Spyder-style bucket seats, Flat 4 banjo steering wheel, cable shifter, removable Speedster-style dash configuration with reproduction VDO Porsche gauges, cosmetic roll bars, twin headrest pods, lowed Speedster windscreen, square-weave carpeting. Still a few things needed like seat belts and other finishing touches. She runs strong and fast and stops well. Asking, $18, 500.
