Custom Wide-Body 1986 Pontiac Fiero Very Unique
This car is unique, not a F@rrari or Lamborghni look a-like. It's an orginal wide-body design. Much wider than stock fiero. Makes for a very agressive look. The only orginal body panel is the roof, all others replaced with the 14 piece wide-body kit. I acquired the orginal protoype car a few months back. It had been in storage about 10 years. I replaced the fuel tank and fuel pump and it cranked right up. It probably still needs a full tune-up, but does run and drive. The drivetrain is all orginal to the Fiero. The wheels are custom made Gotti 16" wheels(you probably saw them on a widebody Porsche 911 poster from back in the day) with Michelin tires. Staggered fitment 215 55 16 in front and 255 50 16 in rear.There are some issues that need attending, such as replacement headliner, carpets, speakers, all suffered during storage. The headlight motors are not working, but the lights themselves do function, the rear tailight section is from a late 80's Olds Toronando and I think the bulbs are out. No, you cant' just buy and drive across the country, well I wouldn't try it. Overall the kit is in good shape, the paint is fair and the fiberglass is very good quality.
