Lamborghini Countach Replica
Selling my Countach Replica that is over 95% complete. Haven’t had time to complete the project, and am moving out of state so it needs to go.
This is a Lambo Shop Body with their door hinges and interior panels, on a Pontiac Fiero (non-stretch) modified chassis. Interior is complete and is all leather with TV screen, electric mirrors and electric door poppers.
350 Chevy and Eldorado 4 speed automatic transaxle. Rear hubs, bearings, disc brakes and custom axles are the heavy duty Cadillac, and not the light duty Fiero. Three electric fan radiators with the original Fiero in the front (with the A/C condenser), and two small Hyundai in the rear. 12” wide rear wheels with Pirelli 345x35x15 tires.
Front is Air Bagged for clearance lifting, and the rear is adjustable coil over five link suspension. Car has just over 100 miles.
Problems and Issues: Car needs good working emergency brakes to be licensed, and what I fabricated will not hold enough to pass inspection. Car drives in both forward and reverse, but don’t remember if it will shift into 3rd and 4th, and may be require adjustment or valve body work. Haven’t driven the car over 60 MPH. Drivers door hinge attachment needs additional support to the frame to stop side-to-side movement for proper alignment into door latch. Although all major mechanical components are in alignment, recommend removal of the body and and re-work cooling plumbing, emergency brakes, headers and heat shielding. All windows are glass except the two front side windows which are plexi. Carburetor is a Holly 750 without choke, and a choke is recommended.
