1929 SSK Gazelle Mercedes Kit Car
This is a 1929 Mercedes-Benz SSK kit by Classic Motor Carriages. It is built on a steel tube chassis runs and looks great (100% operational), powered by a 1970 Volkswagen. Many new parts all exterior parts replaced with stainless (originals parts were chrome) front grill, horns, windshield, new gauges, top and side curtains, etc... Some new parts not yet replaced (lights, new walnut dash, rug, leather strap, etc..) see photo. Manuals for kit car and Volkswagen repair manuals included. Replacement parts for kit car are available thru MG Magic Inc. a wholesaler who bought out Classic Motor Carriages inventory. It’s a head turner and gets 32 miles per gallon.
