Unique concept car completed in 2002 and only driven occasionally to car shows. Selling to finance wife's med school. Riot body made by Thunder Ranch with optional rear section hinged body shell. Not a VW based car; but a 1" tube space frame with full length stainless steel aerodynamic belly pan. Suspension is 4130 unequal length A arms, Heim joints, Proformance adjustable coilovers fr/rr. Mid engine layout with Mazda 13B turbo II engine mated to Porsche 911 5 spd trans; both fully rebuilt. Engine is street ported, shot peened gears, 3mm apex seals. Oil metering reworked to inject clean burning 2 stroke oil. Turbocharged with big Garrett t04E liquid cooled turbo, stainless exh. manifold, Turbonetics wastegate, huge intercooler, SX BOV. Custom built tuned intake manifold, Holley 750cfm 4bbl throttle body. Haltech ECU controlling ignition, 2 stage fuel injection, water injection, NO2. Engine dyno tuned by Steven Kan; produced 240Hp @ 250ft# torque with boost set for only 10#. Easy 300Hp available with boost increase. NOS system is fully installed and jetted with 50Hp jets, 10# bottle. NOS has never been used to date. Wilwood 4 piston calipers and drilled rotors, Tilton dual master cyl with adj. fr/rr balance bar. Steering is a very responsive 2 turns lock-lock. Fittipaldi wheels and steering wheel, Recaro seats, Simpson 5 way competition harnesses, interior fully carpeted. VDO gauges: electronic speedo, tach, EGT, boost, temp, oil, fuel. Body finished in metallic silver 2 stage paint. A high performance sports car and a real head turner.
