You are bidding on a very special and rare replica built on a 1985 Fiero Platform. It is rumoured that very few Spyder's of this style have ever been produced!
This car appeared in a Hollywood film and was driven by Billy Baldwin in the movie.

This vehicle features a stretched Fiero chassis with proper 100.7” wheelbase and fully adjustable suspension. Drivetrain consists of a carburated 305 Chevy V8 engine mated to a Fiero 4-speed transmission. The adapter and installation was performed by Hi-Tech Development and the transmission shifts well (unlike many replicas). Vehicle has 5000 miles since build in 1999 by previous owner and had been in storage most of the time.
There are some minor issues including stress cracks in the fibreglass on the hood and engine cover. The A/C is not working and the vehicle could use some TLC, of which most items are cosmetic, requiring more time than money to repair. This car is being SOLD AS IS.
Replacement cost for parts alone to build this vehicle is estimated to be in excess of $30,000.
Some noteworthy features of this vehicle include:
·Custom curved windshield for proper rake and stance
·Authentic style interior with inspired euro black and grey leather like material in excellent condition
·Upgraded cross drilled and vented disc brakes
·17” replica wheels with 315/35R17 rear tires and 225/45R17 front tires
·I have installed $1400 worth of brand new BF Goodrich G-Force T/A tires with 0 miles on them. These were the stickiest cornering street tires that I could find!
·Fully functional 2 piece targa/convertible top in stayfast fabric with tonue cover in excellent condition
Note: upon start-up this spring, there is some smoke emitting from one valve cover once the engine heats up. It is possible that this has developed due to lack of use and may be readily repaired by anybody who works on GM engines.
I should state that no-one who has seen this car has ever questioned me on it’s authenticity, but rather I have received many compliments on a great looking car.
